City Administrator’s Notes - August 2014

On July 22, 2014 the City Council passed Ordinance 1040. This Ordinance amends the North Bonneville Municipal Code, Chapter 12.08 which deals with overnight parking on public streets, rights-of-ways and municipal parking lots and other related matters.

This action updates the City’s overnight parking provisions and primarily for purposes of clarifying the manner in which overnight parking shall occur within the City’s three central business district [CBD] parking lots. This Ordinance update establishes the City’s ability to tow and impound vehicles if other methods of enforcement do not resolve parking conflicts. This action also updates the vehicle permitting process. Additionally, the Ordinance establishes a $36 per month fee for public use of the City’s 12 at-large parking spaces.

This Ordinance has been summarized to fit this publication. The full Ordinance can be viewed here or at City Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any questions may be directed to Mayor Don Stevens or City Administrator Steve Hasson at 427-8182.
