City Park, Open Space & Trail System

Open space and recreation are of primary importance to North Bonneville. The city  currently has approximately 184 acres of open space, and another 5 acres of City Park. It also offers numerous easily accessible recreational opportunities; tennis courts, 18-hole disc golf course, baseball field, soccer field and the Heritage Trail System, which consists of 12 miles of paved pathways. These city pathways connect to over 5 miles of unpaved trails in the Strawberry Island area, as well as the Fort Cascade trail system and Historic Site. Our trail system also provides easy access to Hamilton Creek and the Hamilton Creek Salmon Restoration area, Greenleaf Lake and Greenleaf Creek as well as Bass Lake and the mighty Columbia River.
